NORCO, La. (AP) - Four teenagers have been arrested in the death of a 78-year-old Norco woman who apparently was killed in a robbery attempt.
St. Charles Parish sheriff's spokesman, Capt. Patrick Yoes, says two 16-year-old boys were booked Monday with first-degree murder in the slaying of Mary N. Mule Arico, whose body was found on the kitchen floor of her home Friday.
Yoes says deputies also arrested a 14-year-old girl on a charge of principal to first-degree murder and 17-year-old Pauline Deese, a relative to one of the boys arrested, faces a charge of accessory after the fact to first-degree murder.
Yoes says Deese is being held in the parish jail, while the juveniles are being detained at facilities outside of the parish.
