3D South 2010 Summer Camp

This free camp is for high school students from around the state of Louisiana. The students will receive training on how to use the latest 3D design software. 25 will be accepted into this camp, and will get to participate in hands on instruction with industry experts, in Manufacturing, Architecture, and Animation. Vector Graphics, LITE, Autodesk, the makers of Autcad, and other local companies will be participating in this event.


What is 3D South 2010- Summer Camp?

Objective: Establish partnerships with secondary and post-secondary educational instructions, students and local companies, to provide the tools and training necessary to educate the next generation of Architects, Engineers and Digital Animation Artist.

3D Both introduces students and teachers to the latest CAD Technologies, through hands on use of the latest CAD & Design software.

Provide the students with hands on experience using the following AutoDesk Software:

  • AutoCad 2011-General
  • Inventor Suite 2011-Manufacturing
  • Revit 2011-Architecture
  • 3Ds Max 2011
