3000 block of Verot School Road Accident

Lafayette Police are currently working a crash in the 3000 block of Verot School Road. An eighteen Wheeler traveling south on Verot School Road was struck by a pickup truck, which disobeyed a stop sign from a side street. The eighteen wheeler then swerved and struck a car. At least three people were transported to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries. Police have closed off Verot School Road between La Neuvelle and Millcreek until diesel fuel on the roadway from the fuel tank of the eight wheeler can be cleaned up. There will be updates when the roadway is re-opened.
