BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Baton Rouge police are searching for three suspects who shot at a police officer while he was in his patrol car investigating a car burglary.
The shooting occurred just before 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Police Sgt. Donald Stone tells The Advocate the three people, who had just reportedly stolen a car from a home, fired a shot through the police car's windshield with the bullet hitting the dashboard right in front of the officer.
Stone says the officer was not hit or injured.
