BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - An Alabama official says three adult
family members have died when a tornado hit a home in central
Alabama.
Autauga County Chief Deputy Sheriff Joe Sedinger tells The
Associated Press the three were killed late Friday night in the
Boone's Chapel community of the county, about 24 miles north of
Montgomery.
Combined with one death previously reported in Alabama and other
fatalities in Arkansas and Oklahoma, the death toll has risen to 13
in the nation's deadliest storm of the season.
