A federal appeals panel has upheld the
convictions of three Louisiana residents for their roles in an
abduction in New Orleans that ended in Mississippi with one man
dead and another injured.
Edward James Pugh, Barron Lecour Borden and Torenda A. Whitmore,
all of New Orleans, were each convicted in 2009 by a federal jury
