NAPOLEONVILLE, La. (AP) - Assumption sheriff's deputies have arrested three men for an attempt to rob a Napoleonville bank.
The incident happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at First American Bank.
A deputy at a nearby gas station was alerted to the attempt and then saw the men, all masked and dressed in black, run out of the back of the bank.
Authorities tell The Courier that other deputies showed up and caught two of the men. A third man was later found at a Napoleonville home. Police say a revolver used in the robbery was also found in a backyard.
