Kentucky Derby and Preakness winning Jockey Calvin Borel was back in his hometown of Catahoula today.
Borel served as grand marshall for the 24th annual Catahoula Volunteer Fire Department Christmas Parade. Crowds lined the streets to see the famous Acadiana jockey and to watch the floats and see the firetrucks go by.
Borel says he never forgets where he came from.
Calvin Borel: "Coming here and all the people I knew way back in the day them with all the support and through all the success I had in my life. Them being behind me and pushing me and loving me and just watching me ride horses has been unbelievable."
After the parade the crowds gathered at Catahoula Park for an unveiling and dedication of Catahoula welcome signs.
Drivers entering the town will now know they're in the home of Calvin "Boo Boo" Borel.
