Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana announces the launch of its annual Bowl for Kids' Sake campaign which raises vital funds for the agency's one-to-one mentoring programs.
This year's 2014 event will feature Bowl for Kids' Sake t-shirts, fantastic prizes for the bowler and team captain who bring in the most money, as well as an opportunity to support the mentoring programs provided by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana. The event will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 with shifts at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Each shift is 2 hours. It will be held at the Acadiana Lanes in Lafayette; 3227 Ambassador Caffery, Lafayette.
At every shift each bowler who contributes $250-$499 and $500 and above is eligible for a prize drawing. A special prize will be awarded to the captain who individually contributes the highest amount overall. Amazing door prizes will also be given out at each shift.
A grand prize will be awarded to the single bowler who raises the most money.
There will be 5-member teams, including one team captain. Minimum $40 donation per team member ($25 for students.) Each member can download a collection form prior to the event to raise donations for their entry. Team members can also create their own personalized BFKS fundraising page to email to friends, family and colleagues by going to www.firstgiving.com/acadinabigs/lafayetteBFKS2014.
