RAGLEY, La. (AP) - Authorities say two women have been booked with second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in the fatal shooting of a Ragley man on Christmas Eve.
Beauregard Parish Sheriff Ricky Moses says 54-year-old Catherine Anderson and 50-year-old Cheryl Schonsby were arrested Wednesday.
Moses says Anderson was the live-in girlfriend of the victim, 53-year-old Jerry Stover, who was found shot to death at about 8 a.m. Monday outside his home on U.S. Highway 171.
Bonds were set at $1.25 million.
It was unclear whether the women have attorneys.
