BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Baton Rouge police say two people are wanted in the death of a 25-year-old man who was shot during an apparent drug deal.

Police tell The Advocate that arrest warrants have been issued for 23-year-old Lashonda Sanford and a 17-year-old. They face charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery.

Cpl. Tommy Stubbs says officers were called just after 1 a.m. Monday and found Jeremy Stewart with a gunshot wound, sitting inside a vehicle parked on the side of the road.

Stubbs says Stewart was taken to a hospital where he died.
