2 teens killed in Fourchon after striking truck

FOURCHON, La. (AP) - Two Houma teenagers were killed when their car struck an 18-wheeler
The Courier reports 19-yeare-old Taylor Caro and 18-year-old Alexandra Blaisdell were killed early Sunday morning. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
State police say Caro was driving northbound on La. Highway 1 at about 5:20 a.m. Sunday and failed to stop at a stop sign as a truck was making its way through the intersection.
The truck driver, 68-year-old Luis Contreras of Amelia, was unharmed.
Police say Blaisdell and Contreras were wearing seat belts and Caro was not.
