Two men who pleaded guilty March 14 to credit card fraud have been sentenced to 10 months in federal prison.
The U.S. Attorney's Office in Lafayette says 38-year-old Antonio Abreu-Arbolaez, of Cuba, and 29-year-old Yoany Quesada-Romero, of Tampa, Fla., also were sentenced to one year of supervised release by U.S. District Judge Elizabeth Foote on Wednesday.
U.S. Attorney Stephanie Finley says both men were charged with conspiracy to possess counterfeit credit cards after they were caught in September using fake cards to purchase Wal-Mart gift cards.
