2 Men Indicted in Fatal Home-Invasion Case

ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - A Rapides Parish grand jury indicted two Alexandria men in the Aug. 2 home invasion where the homeowner shot and killed one of the alleged would-be thieves.
The Rapides Parish District Attorney's Office says that the grand jury on Thursday charged 29-year-old Marlon Terrell Chaney and 23-year-old Warren Deshawn O'Conner with
second-degree murder and home invasion in the incident, where the homeowner shot and killed 24-year-old Darwin Johnson.
Deputies say the homeowner also shot and wounded O'Conner. They say the three men, dressed in black and wearing a ski mask, broke into the home while the family was asleep.
