BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A 20-year-old Baton Rouge man has been indicted in the Aug. 14 shooting death of a man who was shot in the face while watching a fistfight between two sisters.
On Thursday, an East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury charged Trei Diante Bailey with second-degree murder in the killing of D'Andre Robertson outside Bailey's apartment.
The grand jury also indicted Bailey's brother, 24-year-old Lee Michael Williams on an obstruction of justice charge.
Bailey is accused of shooting Robertson while the men watched two sisters fight about baby clothes. The indictment says Williams was not completely honest with Baton Rouge police when he initially told them what happened.
It was unclear whether the brothers have attorneys.
