2 Lafayette men accused of selling pot to undercover agents

Eunice Police Department Narcotics Agents say two Lafayette men were booked into the EPD jail for selling marijuana to undercover agents.

On March 26, 2013 the Eunice Police Department Narcotics Division received information concerning 2 individuals supplying drugs to the Eunice area. Police say agents then placed an order for 1/4 pound marijuana from the individuals in question. The suspects and agents met later at a predetermined location according to authorities. The agents and the suspects made the exchange. Both were booked into the Eunice City Jail and are being held pending a court appearance.


Chaz Richard, 22, of Lafayette, was arrested for
Principle to Possession with intent to distribute schedule 1 CDS marijuana, Violation of the uniform CDS law, and Transactions involving proceeds from drugs.

Tedrick Sam, 18, of Lafayette was arrested for Possession with intent to distribute schedule 1 CDS marijuana, Violation of the uniform CDS law, Transactions involving proceeds from drugs and Driving under suspension.
