2 Found Dead in Car in Jefferson

AVONDALE, La. (AP) - Authorities say two people were found shot to death in a vehicle early Saturday in Avondale.
The Times-Picayune reports the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office identified the dead as Willie Odom, 22, of Harvey and Shawna Girod, 19, of Avondale.
Odom's four-year-old daughter and Girod's baby son were found unhurt in the car, said Glen Boyd, a sheriff's spokesman. Odom and Girod were shot multiple times while traveling in a green Honda Accord on Lapalco Boulevard near U.S. Highway 90, Boyd said.
Boyd said investigators have no suspects or motive.
