2 dead in Metairie shooting

METAIRIE, La. (AP) - Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies are investigating a double shooting in Metairie.
Deputies say the victims in Wednesday's double homicide outside a Metairie have been identified as 29-year-old Derrell Joseph Bradley of New Orleans and 27-year-old Wentrell C. Fletcher of Marrero.
Bradley was found lying in the rear parking lot of the La Quinta Inn next to an SUV with the engine running. Fletcher's body was found slumped over the console in the driver's seat.
Col. John Fortunato, a spokesman for the sheriff's office, says Bradley and Fletcher were shot multiple times and died at the scene.
Investigators believe Bradley was sitting in the front passenger seat prior to the shooting.
Fortunato say investigators so far have no motive in the slayings.
