2 Charged in Connection With Teen's Death

Following an investigation into the death of 15-year-old Kimberly Hollier of Jennings, who died as a result of alcohol, Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon announced that two people are being charged in connection with her death.

The Jennings High School Freshman died under the Mermentau bridge early Sunday morning October 10, 2010.

Kimberly Harris,19, of Mermentau was arrested and charged with Negligent Homicide.  District Judge Kristian Earles set her bond at $50,000.

David Lemoine Cretchen, 29, of Jennings was also charged with Negligent Homicide and two counts of intimidating a witness.   District Judge Kristian Earles set his bond at $100,000.
