CLINTON, La. (AP) - East Feliciana Parish sheriff's deputies have arrested two people after an Ethel woman suffered serious injuries inflicted by three dogs on Monday.
A sheriff's office spokesman tells The Advocate the victim remained under treatment in a hospital Wednesday for numerous lacerations on her arms and legs, as well as other injuries.
Sgt. Kevin Garig says 45-year-old Kenneth Tullier and 39-year-old Donielle Brown were each booked at the parish jail with negligent injuring.
According to state law, dog or animal owners can be charged with negligent injuring when the animal's owner "is reckless and criminally negligent in confining or restraining the dog or other animal."
