Baton Rouge police have arrested two men in the fatal hit-and-run of a 45-year-old man Sunday night.
Cpl. Don Coppola Jr. tells The Advocate 21-year-old Carl McKnight and 29-year-old Eric Abrams, both of Baton Rouge, were arrested in the death of Troy Jacobson.
Jacobson, who police think may have been homeless, was struck by a car at 10:14 p.m. Sunday while crossing the eastbound Interstate 10/College Drive exit ramp.
Coppola says Abrams, who owns the car, brought the vehicle to a body shop Monday for repairs.
McKnight was booked with felony hit-and-run, reckless operation, driver's license required, insurance fraud and obstruction of justice.
Abrams faces counts of accessory after the fact of felony hit-and-run, obstruction of justice and insurance fraud.
It was unclear whether McKnight and Abrams have attorneys.
