18 Interested in Monroe School Job

MONROE, La. (AP) - Members of the Monroe City School Board
should have the names of finalists for district superintendent in
two weeks.
The News-Star reports Monday was the deadline for applying for
the position.
Loe Dunn, a represenative of McPherson and Jacobson, the firm
conducting the search, said that as of 3 p.m. Monday there were at
least 18 completed applications submitted.
The firm will begin reviewing completed applications and
matching the qualifications with the board's desired
characteristics for a superintendent to replace former
Superintendent James Dupree.
The board has asked McPherson and Jacobson to provide them with
the names of three to five finalists by June 1.
