12th Annual Harvest Moon Festival set for Oct. 29

Festivities will take place along Franklin's Main Street in the downtown historic district. There is no admission fee. Harvest Moon Fest is a community-based downtown street festival celebrating the sugar cane harvest and the return of fall. Events for this year's celebration include a children's activities area with a fun jump, rock climbing wall, games and educational displays provided by West St. Mary FFA Club, arts & crafts, car show, chili cook-off, and much more.

Live entertainment will be provided by The Yum Yum Band, Cross Roads, LA South and the Hott Dawgs. All performances will take place at the stage in the center of Main Street in Franklin.
