10th Annual African American History Parade

Maurice native Denise Boutte who stars on Meet the Browns, a Tyler Perry Production, will serve as one of the parade marshals for the 10th annual African American History Parade. The parade is scheduled for February 24, 2013.
The parade is scheduled for February 24th at 2:00 pm and will travel down Martin Luther King Memorial Expressway (Willow) Street. The parade will consist of motorcycle riders, antique cars, dancing troops, marching troops, marching bands and floats. The parade theme is "And Still I Rise."
