1 man killed in French Quarter shooting

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police are investigating an early morning shooting in the French Quarter.

One man was found death around 3:30 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of North Peters Street.

Police say the 26-year-old man was shot multiple times.

WWL TV reports the shooting followed a fight at a nightclub.

Police have not released the victim's name.
