NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The New Orleans coroner's office has identified a man who was killed in an overnight shooting that left at least four others wounded.
John Gagliano, the coroner's chief investigator, tells The Times-Picayune 23-year-old Correy Hill died from his wounds when he arrived at Interim LSU Public Hospital Tuesday night.
Police say that three men opened gunfire on the victims in eastern New Orleans. An EMS spokesman says paramedics took two 28-year-old men, a 23-year-old man, and a 24-year-old man to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
Officers recovered a weapon on the scene.
Police are still searching for suspects and a motive in the case.
