$1.2 million dollar bond set in child pornography arrest

Bond is set at $1.2 million for a Shreveport man accused of 50 counts of having pornography involving juveniles. Danny Owen Gorbet, Jr., 47, was arrested Wednesday as part of a joint investigation involving the Attorney General's High Technology Crime and Fugitive Apprehension Units, Homeland Security Investigations, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Bossier City Marshall's Office, and the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office. He was booked into the Caddo Parish Jail without incident.

Gorbet is accused of violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison on each count.
