A Woman's Journey is a play that consist of 2 one act segments. The play will be held at Theater 810 in downtown Lafayette. Fill the Bucket with 2,000 Meals

The "fill the bucket truck with 2,000 meals" food drive is going on May 16, 2012. It will start at 6am and last until 6pm at the corner of Bertrand Drive and Congress Street. Louisiana Entergy and 2nd Harvest Food Drive would like to help address the increased need for emergency food assistance during the summer months when children are out of school.

Salvation Army Spring Luncheon & Style Show

The Salvation Army will be hosting its Spring Luncheon & Style Show. The show will take place at the Salvation Army Thrift Store at 115 E Third street in Lafayette. The show is on Saturday, May 26, 2012, and begins at 11 am. Tickets are $25, and the money raised will go towards the Salvation Army.
