Part of Orange Street Closing Saturday

Two streets on Lafayette's north side will be closed Sasturday for a Mother's Day event. Lafayette Consolidated Government says the 1500 block of South Orange Street and Heymann Park Access Road will be closed to traffic from 8:00 Saturday morning until 2:00 that afternoon. Detour routes will be made available.

Downtown Road Closing on Mother's Day

A Mother's Day program will close a section of Vermilion Street on Sunday. Lafayette Consolidated Government says Vermilion between Jefferson and Buchanan Streets will be closed from 1:00 Sunday afternoon until 5:00 for an Acadiana Symphony Orchestra concert. Detour routes will be made available.
