Hydrant Installation, Water Shutdown Postponed to Next Week

Heavy rain has forced Arnaudville officials to postpone a fire hydrant installation project. Water was supposed to be shut off in part of the town today while the project would take place. However, the project and the water system shutdown have been pushed back to next week. An exact day and time is not yet known.

Arnaudville water scheduled to be turned off Wednesday

Board to vote on St. Landry superintendent's salary

In about two weeks, the St. Landry Parish School Board will vote on Superintendent-elect Edward Brown's salary. The Executive Committee has recommended $118,000, a $2,500 allowance to help foster better public relations, and a $650 monthly car allowance.

Volunteers needed for Bayou Teche Clean Up
