Jennings man accused of stealing crawfish for third time

A Jennings man is back behind bars for allegedly stealing crawfish for a third time. Deputies say a crawfish farmer caught James Dubroc swimming in his crawfish ponds and through his crawfish traps.

4 LC men accused of stealing crawfish

Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office made four arrests Thursday morning for theft of crawfish. Patrol deputies discovered four men on Compton Road in Roanoke, LA, parked in a vehicle with no lights. Authorities say they recovered a plastic tub that contained 85 pounds of live crawfish.

Husband and Wife Identified in Jennings Double Homicide

KATC has learned the husband and wife involved in the double homicide have been identified as Charles and Katrenna Segura Williams. They have been dead in the home since Friday. Katrina Williams' mother found them today and called police. Their child, a 4-year-old boy, was in the home when police arrived. He has been taken to the hospital for a check-up. Family is on scene awaiting more answers as to what happened.

Double Homicide Investigation Underway In Jennings

Local authorities have confirmed to KATC that crews are investigating a double homicide in Jennings. We are told it was a husband and wife who have died. There was a child in the home, but the child is unharmed. We will continue to update you as soon as we get more information.

Louisiana State Police Troop D responded to a crash involving a train and an SUV on Liberty Cemetery Road near U.S. Highway 190 in Jefferson Davis Parish that sent three people to the hospital.

I-10 East near Jeff Davis Parish line down to one lane

The inside lane at mile marker 69 on I-10 East is closed. A gravel truck turned over, and the interstate will be down to one lane for about an hour. Mile marker 69 is near the Jeff Davis Parish line.

Fatal accident on I-10 in Welsh

One lane of I-10 westbound is now open following a fatal accident involving an 18-wheeler and another vehicle. It happened near mile marker 53 in Welsh. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

52 year old Killed in Crop Duster Crash

The plane that crash in Jeff Dave Parish was a crop duster owned by Rice land Aviation from Jennings. Deputies say the pilot of that plane was, 52 year old, William Precht Jr. of Iowa.
Precht was found after he failed to respond to radio calls. A co-worker then began searching for plane and discovered plane down in field off Hwy 1126.
The crash remains under investigation.
