Iberia Parish sheriff's deputies are now saying three people, not two, were shot this afternoon at the intersection of Anderson and Rene Streets. Two men and one woman are being treated at a hospital, but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
It's still unclear if the three were intended targets or just caught in the crossfire, Public Information Officer Capt. Ryan Turner said. KATC will have a live report at 6:00.
