  US 90 East Closed for Emergency Repairs

  Louisiana DOTD has closed US 90 East one mile west of LA 88 until 5:00 P. M. today for emergency repairs. Officials say crews are making a roadway surfacing repair of a joint blow-up. Drivers are advised to take an alternate route.

  A fire station in Iberia Parish will re-open after being closed for the last two days. The city says this all boils down to a funding issue.

  The New Iberia teen reported missing has been located without incident. Deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office reported Aries Antoine ran away from home on June 7, 2013, without her mother's permission.

  New Iberia to conduct smoke testing of sewers

  New Iberia public works crews will be conducting smoke testing of sewers next week. The tests will be conducted in the 700 to 900 blocks of Yvonne Street, the 1000 and 1100 blocks of Wallace Street, the 1600 block of Emily Street, and the 1600 block of Zez Street.
