LWFD: Step Outside

The Department of Wildlife and Fisheries invite the public to "Step Outside" Saturday, May 11, 2013. This event will take place at the Sherburne WMA Complex from 9 a.m. unitl 3 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.

Wildlife and Fisheries: Spring Season

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agent Travis Huval discusses catching a rare catfish and spring hunting season. The shrimp season will open at 6 a.m. May 13 from Bayou Lafourche west to the western shore of Vermilion Bay. The other areas of the inshore waters will open May 20 and 27.

Well, here's an opportunity to pick up an item for absolutely no charge whatsoever; and in the process do a little reading, enjoy quality story-telling and root for a "super-hero or two".
