    NEW ORLEANS – Coming off its fifth bowl appearance in the past six years, the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns football team was picked to finish fifth overall as the 2017 Sun Belt Conference Preseason Football Poll was released by the league office on Thursday.     STATEMENT FROM RAGIN’ CAJUNS BASEBALL COACH TONY ROBICHAUX ON GUNNER LEGER “After the conclusion of the 2017 season, Gunner had a procedure performed on his elbow and is currently undergoing rehabilitation. He will continue to rehabilitate through the fall and through the early part of 2018. We will then determine his status to pitch for the 2018 season.”
