If anyone knows what it takes to be a great linebacker, it's Lafayette Christian Head Coach Trev Faulk "The ability to make guys play better than they normally do. The ability to rally around. To step up to make a big play when needed. To say the right words to get guys to believe." Faulk was an All-American at LSU before playing in the NFL for 4 seasons. But even he says he's blown away by what LCA senior Martin Lee III has been able to accomplish.

Brad Miller has played every role for St. Edmund. As a freshman he was a defensive lineman, then moved to slot receiver as a sophomore. As a junior he was asked to be the quarterback, but with no spring practice to prepare, as the jamboree was his first dress rehearsal.  What he did after that is amaze anyone that bought a ticket to see the Blue Jays in 2017. As the QB, Miller ran for 1,107 yards and 23 touchdowns, while he threw for 369 yards and 4 more TDs.

After serving a fault, Nadal took the unusual step of heading to the sideline in the middle of a game.
